Yes y’all… January has been a month! The first month of the year definitely dragged but the rumor mill was moving at high speed! Comedian Katt Williams started the month and the year off paying a visit to former football player, Shannon Sharpe‘s CLUB SHAY SHAY where he dished a bunch of dirt on several celebrities including Steve Harvey and his undisclosed “Man Unit” that Katt Williams claims Steve Harvey used to wear before going on stage. Katt Williams spoke on veteran comedian Cedric the Entertainer and how he can’t dance and steals jokes from other fellow comedians. Williams even mentioned rapper Ludacris confessing that he and Ludacris both attended a “secret society” party together years ago and that Ludacris submitted to all of the secret society’s demands! The now viral CLUB SHAY SHAY interview had everyone in a tizzy. No one could decipher who was lying or who was telling the truth?! And before our minds could rest from Katt Williams, here comes rapper Megan Thee Stallion dropping her controversial song “HISS” in response to her ex-boyfriend Pardison Fontaine‘s diss song “Thee Person.” Although it seemed like Megan Thee Stallion was taking direct shots at Pardison Fontaine and a few other people, for some reason rapper Nicki Minaj felt slighted and responded with a diss song of her own titled “Big Foot.” Now, here at #BrooklynGirlCode™, we don’t condone any type of rap or Hip-Hop beef but Nicki Minaj mentioning anyone who has passed on is not fair in any way! So, we’ll leave that right there and let y’all be the judges.
Meanwhile, while all this drama was stirring, there was trouble in the “Promise Land” better known as rapper Rick Ross‘ 235-acre estate in Fayetteville, Georgia. Apparently, Rick Ross’ ex-girlfriend and mother to his son, Tia Kemp has not been very pleased with the way Rick Ross has been showing off his new lady friend Cristina Mackey. Ross and Mackey have been taking lavish trips all around the world and attending several exclusive events. So, Tia Kemp took to these mean internet streets in January to get some steam off her chest. Rick Ross responded to Tia Kemp with a series of social media posts of his own and even bragged about attending a $20,000-a-seat Miami Heat dinner where Mackey would be his plus one. Rozay then posted a pic schmoozing with Miami Heat President and NBA legend Pat Riley… got ’em! Again, here at #BrooklynGirlCode™ we do not condone any type of beef. But, somebody please give Miss Tia Kemp her own show asap because she definitely had us glued to our phones all month long with her hilarious videos! It’s been a long and crazy January and we’re just praying February will be a way more peaceful month in the wide world of entertainment!
